Gelateria Uli is a frozen dessert café in Downtown Los Angeles that specializes in Italian artisanal ice cream known as gelato. Our mission is to bring excellence in flavor and service, all the time. This means sourcing the freshest ingredients available from local farmer’s markets and purveyors. Production of gelato takes place on premises, in small batches on a daily basis. Our display case features 16 flavors at any given time, approximately half of which are year-round, signature flavors and the rest are seasonal flavors. Our signature flavors are California pistachio, speculoos cookies, chocolate sorbet, sea salt caramel, classic stracciatella, coconut lemongrass sorbet, strawberry sorbet with balsamic reduction, banana white chocolate, and espresso with chocolate waffle bits among others. We pride ourselves on a very inventive and constantly rotating menu of seasonal flavors. We draw inspiration from the diversity of Los Angeles and the presence of some of the most exciting cuisines in our home town. We are also inspired by the architecture and history of the Spring Arcade Building and are thrilled to be part of its renaissance.
