In 2013, Chef Ruth opened the restaurant and bistro ‘Crêpes Sans Frontières’ (CSF) in the Spring Arcade Building, Downtown Los Angeles. This was after perfecting her recipes while catering movie studios, corporate and private events for 13 years. CSF specializes in 100% organic buckwheat crêpes called galettes. Galettes are the traditional way to make crêpes, filled with organic roasted chicken, steak or smoked salmon, accentuated with cheese or caramelized onions among other ingredients. Galettes are healthy and are naturally gluten-free. They can also be vegetarian and vegan. Of course, CSF also offers the world-known dessert crêpes with Nutella and other sweet condiments. At CSF, you will also find various salads, panini, croque-Monsieur and croque-madame.
Try the restaurant’s curated selection of French wines, Champagne, ciders and beers. While crêpes are best paired with ciders, CSF also offers a selection of cheese plates and charcuteries best paired with Bordeaux wine.
